Mom's bday, Orlando plans have changed again... Maybe

May 13, 2015 14:59

Ok! So a little secret... I'm over posting so everyone can get to know me again. Lash has invited me to Orlando and I don't want to feel like a third wheel (to me or to someone else) so I figured if I just posted then we could all be friends. Even if we're not ( Read more... )

Well, either way we might see each other. I arrive late Saturday night and I'm definitely there Wednesday. Great thing to look forward to.

And such a beautiful message, both to and from your mother.

You are welcome at any time, for as long as you care to stay.

I'm so happy that you had a good day with your mom, and that you managed to open up to her. That's the kind of thing that it's not wise to put off.

I hope you'll make it! :) It'll be nice to meet you again and chat, even if I don't talk that much out of embarrassment xD

Happy BDay to Auntie! :D

Awwr, your Mum sounds awesome. :D

Melting Pot! Hah, we went there one year for my birthday. alskdjfhg those are the sweetest texts I've ever read.

I get soppy with my mother on very rare occasion, but usually we tease each other mercilessly. We were chatting with the cashier at a store and as we were leaving he said over his shoulder, "Now don't you two beat each other up! Just love each other!" and we said, "But how else are we supposed to show our love?"

(How else? Buying tequila at the liquor store and doing a shot before heading up to clean my new bedroom, that's how.)

What a sweet entry!

Aw, thanks! I'll tell my mom you said so. XD

I learned to laugh from my mom. I learned to be strong from her. I learned to be kinda mean from other people but I learned to temper it with what my mom taught me; be smart with it, don't be like them (whatever negative thing that is), don't be afraid to be silly, and so much more! I don't really know what I'm getting at. I got my ability to laugh from her but nesseccarily my type of humor. She's nicer than me. Smarter. Stronger. All around better....

Moving on!!! A shot of tequila isn't going to do shit for me! Need like 12 shots! The only time I was ever drunk was on tequila and an empty stomach. My house, with a friend, lots of lemons, she tricked me and I didn't know I was doing double shots so equalled 12, and drunk ordering pizza!!! Remind me to act out the story for you!!! XDXDXD

I learned a lot from my mother too. She's nice and generous with those she loves, and always willing to help, but I wouldn't say she's nicer than I am; she's more judgmental, which comes off as not quite as nice. I learned most things from both of my parents, really. They're both silly and kind.

I didn't only have tequila. :P But we also didn't want to be drunk given we had things to do! Plus we had to go up and down the spiral staircase leading up to my new room (it's a loft over the living room). I don't really like being drunk all that much; I tend to stop at tipsy and enjoy that.

I don't like drinking in general. I tried it, have a good story, done. I come from a family of drinkers and I don't want that in my life.
