Reation/Rambles to CI Season Finale "Frame"
I'm still a bit in shock the whole thing, I honestly expected one thing (like many I assume) and was totally thrown by the episode's end. Oddly, the thing that mosts bugs me is Nicole's exit from the series, I mean yeah I never saw it coming that it was her heart in the cooler (I thought it was Donnie's, the package being post marked from him.) And yes, we do know for sure that she is "dead" but I just assumed if that were to ever happen Alex, or in reality Bobby would be the one to do it -I always imagined they'd end up having to shoot her to kill her. Whereas, with this it was just twisted irony -given her chosen method of killing (if anything with all the flashbacks they did I think they should've at least shown us her dying.)
Frank's death really didn't shock me, given the entire time I was like, 'Nicole's gonna kill him.' Brady coming out as Bobby's dad . . . I think we all suspected that to be true after "End Game" aired -but the meltdown in Ross's office and later the ME's was really emotionally charged and good. I loved the fact that while Ross seemed ready to believe Bobby had snapped and murdered Nicole and Frank, Eames kept giving him a look like he was nuts and that even Rogders seemed to want to protect him.
As far as the Gage never would have guessed (in the beginning or pror to the ep) that he'd be behind this whole thing, but about half-way through his conversation with Eames and Ross I began to kind to think, 'ok maybe there's more going on here.' Can't wait to see what the CI writers will do next season after this, I mean yeah the wrapped up the storylines to a lot of things -but now they've opened a whole other can of worms.
