Happy 4th!!

Hope everyone's is going as good as mine has, BBQ, time with family from out of state, ice cream, walk to the beach and of course the fireworks (that are still going off.) It would all be perfect if not for the bugs and my barking dog -lol.

My new Dell laptop arrived around one today, though I've yet to really play around with it yet (I'm making this post from the family desktop.) I'm really happy considering my old one barely runs anymore and this one should have wireless :)

Though I'm still ignoring the house hold chores I should be doing around here, namely my laundry which will shrink for a few days then grow back at twice the size at random/over night, lol. I am however, trying to do some minor udates to my journal, new icons and possibly some banners and stuff to my profile. Silly I know but I like to do it at ( Read more... )

One word: myspace.

Almost everyone I know has one and has been telling me to get one, but really should I? Are they worth the hype, it seemed like a year or so after I got this one the myspace boom happened, what's to say something new won't pop up and that happen again?

Any suggestions as you yay or nay?

I want to kill my friggin' cat! I come out to the kitchen to grab something to eat and find my digital camera on the floor -broken. I swear to God I'm so pissed right now! I just hope the memory card still works or we'll loose all the pics from my graduation.

Things are still crazy here, my Grandma is still having to do treatments for her cancer, which depending on the day can wipe her out. I finally got to see my Mom for a few hours today (after a week with just phone calls.) Well, I made it through graduation in one piece, then spent Sunday night and all of yesterday with a friend who'd come in from Orlando.

I feel amazingly happy and proud, though still in awe that it's all over. It was such a large chapter in this crazy journey that is my life, I can only hope that the next chapter lives up to the past 12 years :) To ( Read more... )

My graduation starts at 8 o'clock and I'm a bundle of nerves -complete with a little black dress, heels and stockings. My family and I are meeting for dinner at Olive Garden at 3:30 and I honestly wonder if I'll be able to eat, though I know I'll have too or I'll be really lightheaded from my nerves and that's never good. It's all over, except for the paperwork on Sunday aka the actual graduation. It honestly doesn't seem real, like this year hasn't even happened and I realized looking over my yearbook, that I actually didn't get a lot of signatures. I did my Senior Boards presentation on Friday, so I feel a lot more at ease now -I think that was the massive thing worrying me lately (I got a 95%, even though I did screw up once or twice.) But now the easy part is near, after four years of doing finals at NSB they're the easy part of all this and the review packets are really all I'm working on.
