1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
I marched a show and got a D in math. I also achieved my goal before my 15th birthday.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't really make any New Year's Resolutions, and I'm making one for next year to be to actually really try in math and speak my mind more.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
... No... I don't think so...

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No. We're all still alive, amazingly.

5. What countries did you visit?
The Bahamas man. It was awesome.

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
I would like to have my mom trust me more in 2005 and a DRIVER'S LICENSE by this time next year.

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory and why?
Mar. 3 (when Scott broke up with me), June 22 (when I broke up with Scott and finished that part of my life completely), Sept. 3 (our first football game), Oct. 5 (one of my best birthdays ever.)

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Meeting new people by throwing myself out there like an idiot (but, for the most part, it's worked) and realizing that I need to stop trying to control the things around me.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Being overly paranoid about people I met and my friends.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
No... I've been pretty okay this whole year. No violent sicknesses or anything.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My new clarinet and my cell phone. Ooh! And my Doc Martens. ♥

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Jeane, but I can't remember why, I just know that at one point I was REALLY proud of her for something. And Amy was a truly great friend to me (and we're trying to work it out). Dani was always there for me and always made me laugh and smile. Alex helped me rake my yard.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and/or depressed?
Amy, when she really fell away from the group for awhile there.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Various things, probably clothes and band things.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Band camp, Insomniacs, band camp for school, the starting of school, marching our show. And now I'm really really really excited about summer break.

16. What song will always remind you of 2004?
Take Me Out- Franz Ferdinand, Somebody Told Me- The Killers, Toxic- Britney Spears, Yeah!- Usher, Ocean Avenue- Yellowcard, and Float On- Modest Mouse.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: happier or sadder?
I'm happier, but more aware. I used to just be happy blindly, if you know what I mean, but now it's like I know that things suck kinda bad, but I'm having fun anyway.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Telling people how much they mean to me and done stupid stuff. I'm so ... controlled.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Getting stressed out over things and overanalyzed, but that was more at the beginning of the year.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I opened presents, ate, went to my grandma's, opened presents, ate, went to Dane's, opened presents, ate, played GTA: San Andreas.

Not really... I don't hate anyone, I just really don't like them.

26. What was the best book you read?
Jurassic Park and The Da Vinci Code. Oh! And White Oleander.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Modest Mouse and Yellowcard and Lola Ray and Mindless Self Indulgence and My Chemical Romance.

28. What did you want and got?
I wanted a digital camera and I wanted out of a crappy relationship that I was still clinging to and I wanted something before I turned 15.

An idea of what I want to do with my life.

Collateral and Mean Girls.

I got up, went to morning rehersal at 7, went to school, went home. :) But later that week was homecoming, which was really fun.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
For all of us to stop fighting with each other. But that is never going to happen, so it's okay. We'll just bitch at each other and keep having fun.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Jeans, shirt, converse/boots, hoodie. And my Fonz jacket occasionally. And tank tops for 3 months straight.

34. What kept you sane?
Music and friends. That's pretty much all.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. (I'm so stereotypical.) And Chad Michael Murray.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The election and the war.

37. Who did you miss?
Lindsay!! I miss her tons.

38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2003:
Things change. Deal with it. Don't try to cling to what happened, blah blah blah, move on. Basically, it can be summed up in one word: ADAPT. But I need to let some stuff go, and quickly.
