Elementary schools breed plague. Thankfully, I recovered in time for Spring Break, so I have been able to enjoy being a vegetable without the added bonus of a runny nose.

I wish to procure a fencing bag, because the thought of lugging my gear around on transit without one gives me palpitations.

I <3 Spring Break. Or something. Whatever, I'm enjoying the time off.

Thank you. :) Can't recall off the top of my head where I got it, although I'm sure I noted it somewhere. I love that book.

How did this post turn into a Gaiman discussion? ;) I love that books... it contains the best of two wonderful authors, in my opinion. Pratchett with his insane footnotes makes me happy, and Gaiman provides so much wonderful food for my geek. I read his books and play name that mythology.

How have you been, darlin'? We haven't chatted in a while, and I'm pretty much never on IM these days.

by the way: congrats on the American Gods suggestion, im nearly done with the book and its good stuff. I am proud I figured out Wednesday was Odin about 60 pages before it was "official", but I feel like an idiot for not seeing Low-Key = Loki... oh well, anyway its really addicting, thanks for the good bookage

Good, I'm glad you liked it! If you thought that was a good read, he wrote a follow up novel -- "Anansi Boys." It should be out in paperback by now. I can with a clear conscience recommend anything Gaiman's written, though. He's pretty awesome.

Sorry I never got back to you through e-mail. I had a friend visiting that weekend, so I didn't do more than skim things, and I've been caught in midterm madness ever since.

actually i just bought anansi boys... i wanted to get something new and had no idea what so I just wandered around the bookstore until I saw it. I have to say I'm unimpressed so far with it... the title isnt as good as "American Gods". I'm a very critical reader. We shall see if the book improves once I start actually reading it.

And its alright about the email, I was just sayin hey. If you get free time eventually and want to wander some more let me know, wandering buddies are always a good thing. And theres still a lot of bars around here I havent checked out, but should definately get to some time
