Last November, two glass items were broken in my house: a wine glass that I knocked off the table, and a lightbulb that was, at the time, attached to the lamp that my cats knocked through the roof of my snake tank. This is why I always wear socks inside, and sometimes even shoes! Much more comfy.

I have been there. There is nothing more fun then waking up to an inch long piece of glass stuck in your foot. On another note, what are you doing for your birthday?? I will be at "skydiving" Saturday in the afternoon, but would love to see you after that if you are free.

You can say that. The most recent one was a splinter-sized sliver that was in my foot for two days before I managed to get it out, but I've found some of the bigger pieces, too.

I just posted about the 19th on my lj, so you're welcome to come by then. I gave up on planning anything big, because I'm swamped and exhausted, but I want to have friends by for something casual. If you're around that Friday (the actual day), I'll probably go to dinner with my parents and a couple people I want to wrangle, if you would like to join us.
