"After completing the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy, Jackson has tackled a remake of the 1933 epic 'King Kong.' Today, he announced that he has purchased the movie rights to Alice Sebold's best-selling book 'Lovely Bones' and will make that his next project after he completes 'Kong.'" Leave a comment

Dammit! What about the supposed low-budget zombie movie he was going to make that was going to be a sequal of sorts to Braindead/Dead Alive. FUCK!

I want to see Braindead/Dead Alive remade shot by shot, using all those neat new special effect technologies. Although, some of those great scenes could be ruined by neat special effects, like the Graveyard Throw-Down and the Day in the Park. Actually, I think the Day in the Park could seriously disturb some people if the child looked to realistic. Heh.

Actually, I want to see Bad Taste remade in the same way, and I want to see the now overweight Peter Jackson burrowing through the Fast Food Overlord. Because, you know... "I'm a Derek, and Dereks don't run."

Although, honestly, "Lovely Bones" looks like a rather intriguing property.
