I'm angry at myself for getting angry at little things. Oh God..the irony.I showed my dad my progress report hoping for some sort of praise. I got a 101.8 as my grade and I don't even get a smile. He's sitting there, chewing on something eyes fixed on the TV. I don't see him all day. I see him for maybe 10 minutes at around 5:00. I'm secretly glad

You don't have to get A's to be successful in life. What matters is that you learned the stuff! Besides, different teachers have different ways of grading, so a B in one class could have been an A had you had another teacher. :)
Balancing the things in your life is difficult in high school. You need to remember that you're only one person, and school should not be your entire life. It's a pretty important part, but you also need some down time to relax and recharge yourself =) Spending 100% of your time on school is unhealthy, mentally and physically.
So remember...BALANCE! Your father may not understand how challenging school is for us in comparison to what he went through. You know the greatest number of teens who see psychiatrists and related people see them because of school. :P Keep school up there in your top priorities, but dont push yourself too hard. :)
