Twister City is a crime time soap set in Topeka, Kansas. The show focuses on the lives, loves, and misadventures of the local police department, using the setting's low crime rate as an excuse to keep the actual crime-fighting to a minimum.
The cast is an ensemble but most of the story centers around Detective Wyatt Cain and his son Jeb, who move to town in the first episode to start their lives over following the murder of Cain's wife. They adapt (or not) to the "big city" and its kooky citizens.
