"Being as you feel robbed in some way... " - yeah, who wouldn't after attempting a scam and losing £500 in the process? :D

I'm buying Metal Machine Music when I get paid next. I'm trying to see how much of his back catalogue I'm able to enjoy before I "have to" get Transformer.

When I first got Metal Machine Music I listened to it - on headphones, from start to finish - every single day for like a fortnight. It blew my proverbial socks off. It's just the single most raw and uncompromising rock album ever conceived, a howling, wailing, majestical beauty.

At least, that's my take. :D

Which of Lou's other albums have you bought and/or enjoyed, so far? :)

I only started getting into his music last year, and what with having been poor and unemployed for most of that time, I've just got a few albums - Berlin, Sally Can't Dance, Street Hassle, The Blue Mask and Coney Island Baby. Currently, the latter two are my favourites, but I love them all, really. :)

Those are all awesome albums - five of my favourites, of his. *enthusiastic thumbs up* :D I actually bought Coney Island Baby twice, having lost my first copy. I've been listening to it a fair bit lately. It was the last thing Joss and I heard on our anniversary, in fact! :D
