I've written a couple of responses to this, but I believe that the simplest one is this: Why are you watching American election coverage if you don't want to hear pro-American hyperbole?
I sincerely hope you don't truly believe that American citizens believe themselves entitled and superior to every other citizen in the world. That is untrue, and absurd.
And if you think you're tired of the current foreign policy, President Bush, flexibility with the Geneva Convention, etc, consider last night's win. You're not the only one. Please try to consider the idea that Americans are not actually out to rule the world and destroy all that is not "American".
I will not become more argumentative, although I certainly do disagree with some of your points, because this will become too long. I'm already late for a celebratory dinner for some of my friends. They helped organize the city's largest grassroots registration and voting drive, which almost certainly led to our state going completely blue for the first time since FDR. That is
