I didn't watch the Olympic Opening ceremonies. I don't care much for the olympics, generally, as I don't like watching sports on TV. And this year I just find the whole Bruhaha rather distasteful. The Mummy
The Mummy 3 was even cheesier than I'd dared hope for. Unlike the previous movies, which seemed to want, deep down, to be taken seriously - this one didn't even try. Exciting news...
So my best friend when I was growing up is getting married (finally! They've been engaged for nine years!), and has asked if I would like to be maid of honor. Awesome, and flattering. The catch is the wedding is going to be in South Australia, next October. I would love to go, but it is problematic that it will be in the middle of the fall ( Read more... ) -
Suckiness is....
...getting a migraine and not being able to go have fun with your friends. I blame stress about some work stuff (both regular and summer jobs) combined with stress I've apparently borrowed from Collin and his house stuff. So I sit here, feeling both queasy and sorry for myself ( Read more... ) -

The vacation was great! The Durango/Silverton train was a lot of fun, as was the fantastic room in Silverton (in the historic Grand Imperial Hotel!). Batman....
...was remarkable. Eerie and chilling and scary and AWESOME! While I don't know about the Oscar buzz regarding Heath Ledger, I do know his interpretation of Joker is probably the evilest villain I've ever seen in a movie. Weird dream. I remember being pissed at my sister because she cooked rice in the tea tin I keep sugar in, and moved the sugar to a saucepan.
