You know, there are days like today when I have stacks and stacks of homework that I wonder how my father talked me into taking Pyschology as my major. I mean, it's interesting and all, learning how people think and how to read them and stuff, but the workload can be a bit much. I spend so much time studying and doing homework that I hardly even ( Read more... )

"This is what I get for diverting from my well thought out paths around this place..." I muttered under my breath as I tried to figure out just exactly how I'd gotten so turned around. I'd just wanted to wander around a bit after class because it was so nice out, but now I had no clue where I was ( ... )

Watching this girl I could clearly see her confusion. The thought had crossed my mind to get up and help her, but it seemed that she was already heading this way, maybe to ask for help.

Yeah...that was until she tripped on, well, nothing, and completely fell onto the grass. That was hard not to laugh at, but there was something about her that made me want to help and not sit and laugh. I'm not normally a mean spirited guy, so it wasn't that hard to resist. Besides, she's pretty cute.

Hopping to my feet I rushed over and helped her grab some of her books. "That first step's a doozey, huh?" I joked.

"Or I'm just a klutz of gianormous proportions." I replied at Hot Guy's joke. "Seriously, though, there's like, a rut in the ground..." I added, continuing to haphazardly get the contents of my bag back inside.

God, he probably thinks I'm some huge, spazzy freak. Great. I don't know why I even care though. It's not like he even knows who I am and there's like a zillion people at this school. I'm just one of the nameless, faceless masses, right?

"Uh... thanks for the help." I smiled, getting to my feet. "I'm Dawn."

Gianormous? Wow, I don't think you'd see that in a thesis paper. Hell, I don't think I ever heard anyone over the age of 5 say that. It is kinda cute though...so is she, so it works. "Nah, not a klutz...hey, I could write an angry letter to them about that 'rut' if you'd like", I said with a joking tone and a smile.

I helped her grab the last of her stuff then helped her up. "Nice to meet you, Dawn. I'm Connor." I offered my hand for her to shake.

"Let me guess, you're a freshman and you're a little turned around backwards?"
