The cliffs of Gays Head. No, really. That's the name. So pretty at sunset.. the rocks glow red and the water is sapphire.
John Belushi's grave (famous actor) that is covered in notes from fans, bottles of Jack Daniels, and cigars. Quite creepy actually.
"Gingerbread Houses", they were originally what people call "salt-box houses", but were added onto in the Victorian era. They're tiny little brightly painted, fringy doll house-looking homes. And people acually live there. It's beyond me how or why, but they do.
There is a cute, little ice cream parlor on just about every corner. It's heavenly.
My haunted room. Okay I know that sounds stupid. I bought a book on the hauntings of Marthas Vineyard and our inn seemed to have more legends than anywhere else. So then one night we were getting ready for this ritsy dinner, so I was blow-drying my hair. Supposedly this blew a fuse and knocked out the power in two rooms. Anyways, I look in the mirror (as the stories also go) and I see this colonial type general guy standing right behind me. I just started going "Err... uhm...", and then I ran out screaming. Oh, and there's a picture of the bottle of sherry in my room. Waunderful, dahling.
