UC Santa Barbara has only a 3.5 - 4.2% (i.e. 20 out of 475-550) admission rate - so I probably won't be going there

So, I'm up at Michigan State now for my research project on the internal structure of the proton (the CTEQ parton distribution functions of quarks and virtual gluons and lots of other virtual QCD fuzz). I will have to teach myself Mathematica - which will be much easier when we can actually get it running - the sys admin is in Paris (!) right now. ( Read more... )
