Some things are broken in my car that need to be fixed, and the cost of the repairs far exceed the value of the car.
I want to get another cheap one, but I can't tell truly good, old cars from ones that have a lot wrong with them, so I don't want to spend $500-$1,000 on something that's just going to wind up in the same shape as my car in a month.
