I'm trying to sort out my major, biased, because-I'm-crazy issues with Remus/Tonks. Objectively, I approve of it because the man deserves some happiness, but, er, I can't help but also be very, very much with the moping.
I agree with the serious lack of Sirius. (Ba'dum'chh! Hah, I have no shame.) I really, really missed hearing about him, and was definitely expecting his presence -- or, well, absence -- to be felt so much more in this book. I was really surprised that there was no talk between Lupin and Harry, too -- I'd assumed one would happen and was really looking forward to it, so that was disappointing. Also, it seemed almost OOC for Lupin not to try to talk to Harry about it, but he did seem to be really unwell and weary during the book, so I guess that's a reasonable excuse as to why he didn't

Precisely how I felt. I just finished it an hour or so ago and I am still recovering. It took a lot out of me.
