that riddle is worded wrong. i actually got something like that a long time ago with the real thing on it. when you read that one...it makes you think that there is a third word that ends in -gry...when really there's not. or at least that's not even the riddle. the real riddle is supposed to sound something like this:
Think of words ending in -gry. Angry and hungry are two of them. There are only three words in the English language. What is the third word? The word is something that everyone uses every day. If you have listened carefully, I have already told you what it is.
so in the real riddle...you see that the whole -gry thing has nothing to do with it. the three words are the, English, and language...and language is the answer - being something that everyone uses every day.
