2009 Year In Review...
Wow, I didn't do much, did I?
For wondercon we did our normal costume sweatshop and cranked out The Good Fairies in a couple of days. Time lllaapppsseeeee video below!
Then cranked out Chevalier d'Eon for Fanime...
(I've wanted to do a Robe a la Francaise for a while, and this gave me an excuse. Definitely got the bullion embroidery out of my system though, lol.)
Annual camping trip to Yosemite. Cold and wet, but lots of fun. And with bears!
Trained all summer to do my first bike event, a 50 mile ride for the Livestrong Challenge!

Went to San Diego Comic Con, as always...
Cheated and wore my Chevalier costume to Costume College... :) at least people noticed the quilted petti there, unlike anime cons, lol. Not going to 18th C my hair again... wasn't that difficult, but getting it out was a pain. Plus you can make wigs so much smoother... on the plus side, it had been yeearrss since i've been to costume college, and I had tons of fun. Maybe I'll teach again... lol
Then it was back to training, this time for Half Dome! Spent every weekend tramping around the local bay area trails, most of which i had no idea that existed...
Joined a farm collective...
Next year is going to be crazy! We're doing a big masquerade entry again, after taking a couple years off. Going to start right after New Years o.0. I have a whole bunch of historicals I'd really like to make, starting with OBNOXIOUS victorian... plus another sacque. And a 1780's. And a 1905, lol.
