Here we go again...

I'm so glad there's music I can listen to that awakens all these feelings I forgot I once had, and all these places I forget I once belonged, and all these people I forget I once loved or even knew. And each song I do that with is so nuanced, so particular. Being human is great.

Making someone's portrait is such an intimate way of knowing them, even if they aren't posing for you, even if it's just copying a photo.

It's about just getting to know the lines in someone's face when the light hits them this way and their head tilts that way, and their smile is just so, and they are curious.

I've been sweating beer all day.
