ah man, I miss hong kong so much. at least winter over there was still remotely warm...here its only something stupid like 6 degrees! (and its 4:30pm and already pitch black, not fun)
it was around 23 degrees a few days ago and everyone was saying "it's december already though!". today just plummeted down to a 14. i just can't wait until i get to UK to met the clouds and rain and cold (and i applied to SCOTLAND).
i hafn't seen snow in just ages. the last time was probably a long 8 years ago. hong kong just gets more and more miserable during winter with snow making machines showing the locals how snow looks like, but the snow just melts in seconds.
all you have to do is save up for the flight tickets, shopping is uber uber cheap compared to L.A. i love los angeles, half of my relatives live there, so i used to go every summer when i was small and i would just run around with giant sunglasses and roll around in the lawn. i have never been during winter or any other season though!
i really do not like the winter feeling, but since i am in texas i luck out in the cold, we don't really get a winter, for maybe for a day around febuary, the rest of the time, we just get a long & extended fall,
my faorite is to wear all the scarves, but it us stukk not enough, i just do not like sleeping when my toes are cold =/ i love the wind's breeze during fall, it makes me want to give as much as possible, i just love the magic of the season ♥.
it was a tiny one pound cake <3 i could have devoured the entire thing on my own.
so many people on livejournal are from texas! i really want to go there, it sounds so nice and everyone has a tattoo of texas somewhere on them to show their love for it. cowboy hats, how is texas like?
lol i am a cake fiend.. i will eat anything & everything if it is cute looking or topped with fruits =) i even like icing-less cakes =)
well, i am from austin, it is more of the diverse side of texas with a mix of everyone. i am caught up in the middle of everything, live in a small town but i used to live in the middle of no where with a lot of land &hearts, but the people here are so nice, even if you do not know them. over here, there's accent =/ i am guessing it is somewhere down south.
i am exactly like that as well! cakes and chocolate and junk food, i have to thank my fast metabolism else i would be extremely obese with the amount of food i eat.
austin sounds so nice, i hate how in hong kong there is absolutely no sense of community even between neighbours in apartments. i absolutely lost my canadian accent after coming to hong kong, if (hopefully) i move to UK later on, i will definitely pick up something ultra posh. oh i wish i can hear you speak, i'm analysing accents in my english course right now!
definitely. i'm still exploring <3 eventhough i keep on saying how tiny hong kong is, there are always tiny shops which suddenly pop up and little illegal cafes on the Xth floor of buildings.
