hello Alex Walker's journal readers! how do you do? Most of you, ages 15- 20 are my friends, classmates, or simply acquaintances who enjoy my presence. I keep this journal pretty darn raw and revealing, mainly becuase at times i need to vent, i need to convey my feelings, and i dont feel like holding much back except the extreme exact details. in ( Read more... )

It is quite remarkable how parents 'accidentally' happen to stroll across a livejournal of a person whose name rings a bell. I also find it funny how a grown man who has, God forbid, dranken alcohol illegally, or accidentally killed his neighbors cat, can automatically come to conclusions about another person's life and try to be the best Christian, God-serving, righteous man hoping that one day he will be accepted into Heaven for saving another's life. But wait! How will he go about 'saving' another? Well, as he fortuitously came across another's 'online ranting machine,' if you will, he feels the sudden urge to print out the fallacious material which he has been reading. Ladies and Gentlemen, it does not stop there! Furthermore, he shows the abominable manuscription to a loved one's parents! Welcome to life. A man cannot accept the facts that teenage stress overwhelms many, and to some, expressing oneself online and inviting, let me re-emphasize, INVITING, others to join him in his quest of maturity is the best possible way of ( ... )

oh bennie ben ben ben, you have made a big deal out of nothing, and now you are the one who is making false accusations. He was just trying to look out for me, bc he loves me like his own daughter. and he didnt show it to my parents. I just thought you should get the story right, but i still love you!

alex my dear i applaud you...

it is true that we put our lives out onto the internet for all to see...
anyone in the world can come to this place and see what is going on in our lives...
well that is their decision...
they can imagine who you are...
draw conclusions about you as a person...
but in the long run that doesn't matter...
for in the end they don't really know...

what's written here is your own...
its your thoughts and your words...
this journal is for you and you alone...

the good book tells us that we are not to judge...
hmmm i think that includes everyone...
am i right?

yea well...
as a sidenote... good luck with the boyfriend...
i shall see it one night

i can imagine perhaps what i would find the most untolerable
would be feeling obligated to defend yourself in this situation
i trust you handled it with grace

and always a pleasure to read what ben has to say

Perhaps as a young man striving hard to affirm you relationship with God, you should try harder to shake your bad habits. I have seen you claim many times that a mistake would be your last, but you have relapsed too many times. Telling the whole world one thing on live journal differs from actually following through in your own personal life. I pray that you do eventually manage to free yourself from the vices encountered in teenage life. However, ultimately, it comes down to whether you have the balls to tell yourself no.

By the way, I've known you for a while...and you can be a douche...and you do come off as being really pretentious at times. But I've come to accept that as part of your personality and accept it.

I don't know how you can call him out on saying something on lj and then not following up on it in real life. You are sitting here saying crap about him anonymously from behind your computer screen. If you have known him for a while, and are a decent human, you would tell him face-to-face.
