that is what i say actually.
but most people do not know the difference between "miss" and "ms." so even when i say "ms." they call me "miss." which is fine, obvs. it's the clarification that irks me a bit.
i call everyone ms. and i think it bugs some people. i change it if they correct me but otherwise i am like WHATEVZ.

i call myself MISS LEESA in sunday school.
and some married women use mrs.
but idk. i don't think it's necessary for ppl to know whether or not i'm married sometimes.

SO AMEN.
it's not fair.
and idgi.

I don't like it either. :( It doesn't stop once you're married, either.

The people here assume that I am using my husband's insurance, gym membership, etc. and that I don't have my own job and insurance. And as my wedding was approaching, I was asked a few times whether I'd keep working after I got married.

Icing on the cake: a guy in my husband's group asked whether he lets me drive on road trips.

yeah, people don't know what ms. means/don't ever use it!

i get asked ALL THE TIME if i am married too b/c i wear silver rings on both ring fingers. and then earlier this month we went to larry's family reunion and i got asked CONSTANTLY ALL DAY NONSTOP if we were engaged/if we were thinking about getting engaged/when we were getting engaged/hey larry why don't you just ask her now to marry you.
