The problem with the lab - one of them, anyway - is that it's often times extremely constricting. And as much as Hank sometimes wishes that he didn't have to take breaks, that he could devote most of his waking hours to research, he has to admit that staring at calculations for hours on end can lead to his becoming sloppy.
