This is one of the most beautifully written things I have ever read. Your vivid descriptions of so many intangible feelings are crystal clear and go straight to my heart and I feel like I'm living them. I love the way you capture that interplay of fear, resentment, anger, love and want in Viggo - so much resides in him. At the same time, you've described an interesting mix in Sean. Any chance that there is more of this one to come??

Thank you so much. I think this is it, but it's always great to hear when someone would like to read more. The main thing I wanted to get across were the emotions, so this feedback is really gratifying. Thanks again!

This is an amazing piece of writing - I don't know that I've read anything quite like it before. The imagery of these two alpha males, playing out their desires for domination and submission entirely through wordless emotional manipulation, just took my breath away. And now I'm imagining Boromir and Theodred in a similar scenario, AU to my AU, but omg so hot. Whoa.

Thank you for the wonderful feedback. And such a great compliment that you can picture this with Boromir and Theodred. One of these days I'll feel comfortable with dialogue, but until then it's great to know I can get something across with just the descriptions. Thanks again!

jeez... that was incredibly intense. while i guess i've never seen viggo in this light no matter what a hard-ass i've ever written him like, it seems... plausible. viggo was so walled off, not being able to feel or maybe not wanting to. and this sean, who knows exactly what he's doing and what he means, rather than that whole "what? me gay?" thing... it was almost a shock to the system, just as viggo had physical symptoms. wow.

I did want to try a different characterization for both of them, but especially for Viggo who I have a tendency to make picture perfect all the time. :-) Thanks for the great comment and for reading.

Awww. This was heartwrenching and warming in turn. I especially loved--
He felt he could actually feel time crawling across his skin, trickling down his back. It dug its nails into his neck and pushed its thumbs against his windpipe. He could hear every watch, every clock, could feel the steady hum of seconds ticking away, slowly turning the ground beneath his feet.
--A really beautiful and evocative image. ^_^

Thank you! My only goal was to try and convey their feelings so it makes me feel great to know that I was able to accomplish that. Thanks again!

Beautiful, just beautiful. You managed to write down something very much believable. Passionate, loving, sad and yet hopeful. I loved every word of it, wonderful.
