Your OB's office, if you gave Motherhood Maternity your address...

Good for you wanting to get rid of the formula in a constructive manner instead of in a destructive manner (as much fun as that would be!). I hope you're able to find a place to take it.

How are you doing?

I'm doing great :) Lots of contractions last night and this morning, but they are just the "haha just kidding!" kind :-P

I remember those all too well. I hope you get the real thing soon!

did you ever shop at Motherhood, Mimi Maternity, or A Pea In The Pod? If you did they sell your name.

Awesome. Yeah - I shopped at Motherhood last FALL! :-P

That will do it! You know how they demand your address? Now you know why. Bleh. I abhor that company. Their products are sub par, their outfits are tents, AND they sell your name to the formula companies.

They do have a nice cotton nursing bra that I like though.

Supportive my ASS.
*shakes head*

Having that stuff in the house, as a new mom, is way too tempting for most. But you already know that...

Yep, and that's exactly why they do it - those jerks! Because then when Mom's milk isn't in by the time she gets home from the hospital, then she starts doubting herself and turns to formula, her savior, and then Enfamil/Similac has a new loyal customer! Hooray!

I am SO LUCKY I had my cousin... she breastfed her twins until they were 4 I believe, and then her third daughter. She gave me so much info, especially about supply in the beginning and avoiding formula suppliments.

At Josh's 5 day old appointment, he had lost over a pound and my peditrician tried to convince me to suppliment but I refused, and instead I nursed him pretty much non-stop until my milk came in. I would have been one of those damn formula statistics otherwise!

Yeah, I am super lucky that nursing went really easily with Noah in the beginning because I had NO support. I mean, my mom and Andy and everyone was supportive of me breastfeeding, but NO ONE in my family had any experience with it. So I got the, "He seems like he's not getting enough - are you sure he's full?" comments all the time!

go halvsies and take lots of pictures of what happens with his half. :)

my husband took it all to work and let his co-workers take it. i was stunned when he told me it was all gone in about 5 minutes. there were like 4 or 5 cans of powder, and something like 4 bottles of concentrate... and i think some ready to use too. i was glad it didn't go to waste, but at the same time....

Haha, I might let him keep one can. He's like, "Then we can videotape me shooting it and you can show it to all your little boob nazi friends!" I told him we're not THAT crazy! He just wants an excuse to shoot something.

Yeah, if I posted this up on Craigslist, I'm pretty sure I'd have an email within 2 minutes asking for it. :-P

I bet if the companies knew you are having twins, you'd receive even more.

Too bad they don't give away something USEFUL... like... well shit. I can't even think of anything universal that every mom needs. BOOBS!
