Naming this baby would be SO much easier if it were a boy. We don't have many boy names that we both like but at least there was one we agreed on ( Read more... )

Oh. My. I vote you get to name the baby. Cuz seriously...PRUDENCE??? Is he brain damaged? Sheesh.
Lol.
We always had the deal I got to name the boys and he named the girls. We had two girls, but he did okay - Sabrina and Loushawna. Not bad. His first choice for Sabrina was Spatula, so really, it was a huge upchoice. Lol.

Spatula?! Seriously? Like the kitchen utensil? LMAO!

We're finally agreeing on a few names. Still looking through the baby name book before we reach a decision... but suffice to say Prudence is NOT on the list LOL

Ella wasn't named until hours after I had her. Seriously it is your decision. I wanted to wait until I saw what she looked like. If her dad had his way her name would have been Frosty Peaches.

By the way I love the name Macy:)

Frosty Peaches?! LOL! Part of me thinks it's better than Prudence though LOL

I like Isabella, then calling her Bella... but I'm afraid she'd get called Izzy... and that would drive me crazy. We have a few others on our list as well. We finally agree on some names.

Macy was starting to grow on me. Then I took Evan to the walk in clinic the other night and the little girl in front of us was named Macy. After hearing her mother calling her name like 80 times in 20 minutes, I started to dislike it again LOL

EW, just say no to Macy! I don't mind Prudence... prue was my fave halliwell sister.
But... Phoebe is a pretty name.
Teegan sounds like a city in Missouri.

LOL!! We're finally agreeing on some names, so hopefully we'll reach a decision sometime before she's born. Still have a few months :)

I'm a traditionalist, so I was going for old-fashioned names. Catherine, Elizabeth and Rebekah were my favorites. However, Dan is VERY against any name that can be made into a diminutive, so even though I really wanted a Kate, he was too afraid she'd be a Cathy, so all those names were a bust. We finally decided on Melanie Jane. Melanie because of my love for Gone With the Wind (and I'd never wish Scarlett on anyone LOL), and Jane for my sister. But we didn't get to use those names. :(

I kinda like the more traditional sounding names too. We've agreed on a few names, so I'm sure we'll reach some sort of middle ground.
