I took a nap because I fell asleep watching CSI:NY around 10 something. But I woke up before twelve and helped my mom clean house before my Daddy's almost-relatives came. (I got to dust with the feather duster, yay!)
Then I talked to Jared on the phone. We talked about Amber, and this summer, and planning a back-to-school party, and going to the movies tomorrow. It was very nice. I miss all my friends!
Then I made a deal with Katie... she's gonna find some way to send me $15, and I'm gonna buy her a paid LJ account.
Then I ate vanilla ice cream with butterscotch sauce, and I got dressed and put on a whole lot of make up. The almost-relatives arrived, and pirates_damsel and I left to go run errands.
First we went to Mervyn's to get my paycheck. It took ages, and Damsy got really hot in the car, but finally I had my last two paychecks, and one was in cash!
Then we headed to dig!music. We parked at the bank, and the sign said bank customers only, so Damsy was a little worried that our car would get towed. So we were fairly speedy. She sold 3 of her 5 used CDs, and the man with the crazy eyes gave her $8.50 for them. I said that it was better than yard sale price, and Damsy said it was better than still having the CDs.
Then we went to the movie theatre, and I left Damsy in the car while I bought us tickets to see Wedding Crashers tomorrow with Jared. The dude didn't even ask me for an ID! Yay!
Then we went to Safeway, in search of lemon drops for tiggothy. We didn't find them at first, so we wandered around looking at all the candy we could find. I love Safeway, it smells so good in there! We were on our way out, sweeping past the candy aisle one last time, and I saw those chocolate pringle thingies. They're called Swoops. Well, I really love the York Peppermint Patty Swoops, because they remind me of last summer in Alabama, and they were on sale for $3 for 2 cans of 24 (with your Safeway Club card), so I grabbed some. and then, just then! I spied a big bag of lemon drops. It was only a buck! Yay! Damsy bought a Pepsi on the way out.
Next stop: I wanted to stop at a convenience store to make sure that we had the right kind of lemon drop. I also really wanted a soda like Damsy. I got a Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper (sadly not Diet), and then Damsy got a pack of Sugar Babies (I tweaked my sore tooth on one of them) and I also got some Peach Rings.
I feel very independent with all my errand running. The almost-relatives seem pretty nice; they're laid back, even though they're oldies. Jesse is being more annoying than he normally is with guests, and I feel very sorry for them. I've already eaten all the Peach Rings. I'm not sure how long the Swoops are going to last. Damsy put them in the most used cabinet ever. I said that was Swoop suicide, and I moved them to the cabinet above the fridge. You can tell no one goes in that one because it's got a spiderweb. If you're looking for them, Damsy, that's where they are.

[...] I just now got sidetracked... Jon and Jimmy stopped by! They were both wearing cowboy hats. We all had a lovely chat. My house felt so full and happy, what with the almost-relatives and all. They want me to invite my "Cloverdale girls" to the back-to-school party. How CUTE!
