A little more Warhammer

So far Warhammer is a very mixed bag. Some of the graphics are very nice. Some seem lower quality than WoW. The sameness of all the characters in the beginner zones is VERY noticable. As a big level 6, I'm still startlingly similar to a level 1. Also, the Public quests, which are, for the record, quite fun, seem to have the same set of rewards

friends of mine have been trying to get me and him into Warhammer. I just don't know if I could put that much attention into another MMO ya know?

One reviewer commented that the sameness of equipment appearance fits right into the overall theme of Warhammer -- that of massive armies clashing into each other. In WoW, like most MMOs, you might have raids and stuff, but they're bands of heroes, of individualists. In WAR, you're part of an overall /army/ (or, in the case of greenskins, a horde).

Didn't notice an anime run style, but then, I've found that run cycles for humanoids always seem to be a bit 'off'. My goblin scuttles quite nicely, though, and I love how his squigs all bound about like mutant frogs. :]
