The beta.scribblit.com will become the permanent home. There is a post on staff_kit's journal explaining everything.

if there are any secondary invite fundraisers, will people who donated after the first one be offered an invite?

That is not something that had been considered, in all honesty. However it is unlikely that there will be another fundraiser before the site opens for free account creation.

Greetings! First I would like to say that the site looks amazing and I'm more than excited to see its gates open. And secondly, I'm one of those who migrated to GJ when LJ did the whole strike through business and I hope to be one of those who migrate from GJ as soon as scribblit opens (a completely different set of problems than LJ is having, but just as bad in my opinion). Anyway, I'm an RPer and I was wondering realistically how Scribblit will handle RPers. I know a lot of use are getting fed up, and while a good portion of the community has moved to CommieJournal or InsaneJournal, some of us really don't like either of those options and are considering Scribblit as our new port of harbor. This of course means a number of journals all belonging to the same e-mail address and really just a number of journals in general. Will Scribblit be able to handle the migration or is it targeted toward bloggers and Fanfic writers primarily ( ... )

Scribblit will welcome RP'ers. The main problem we had was that people had stumbled up on the account creation page when it wasn't meant to be open and over 200 accounts had been created.

Once the site is open for business however, those with RPGs are welcome to sign up and bring their characters over.

Sorry to bother you, but... diana_lucifera December 17 2007, 23:01:52 UTC
I'm diana_lucifera, one of the beta testers. I got the invite email this afternoon, but my yahoo account seems to have had some kind of hiccup, and the invite was one of the lost emails. Who do I need to speak with about this?

Send me your email address - either leave a comment or to scribblit @ yahoo.ca - and I'll send you a new invite.
