This does not make any logical sense. While it is normal in parts of the world for it to snow in June, we had thus far been experiencing weather akin to a Northern Hemisphere summer. There are few weather patterns that would allow a blizzard of this magnitude to simply spring up out of an otherwise normal and hot summer.
