It's a quiet night in Northumberland, thanks to the chill August rains that swept through a few hours ago. There hasn't been a warm night in this part of England in a decade or more. Creedy wakes up and heads for the privy and it's only while he's on his way back that he hears it, even though he's half asleep.

He blinks it away for a moment before realizing it's not just in his head.

Quinn's out fast, sleeping hunched into his pillow the way he so often does. A little twitchy in his sleep, perhaps, but he's always like that.

He's definitely not driving anywhere, though.

Which Creedy sees as soon as he pads over. That means, uh... well, Quinn's going to have to wake up anyway, even if he's not driving.

Mostly because he's not driving.
