Alnwick Castle isn't under siege, precisely. Under siege would imply the castlefolk being hunkered down while surrounded. The Americans gathered outside haven't got the numbers any more to surround the castle; they're just lined up along the road, their weapons trained on the place where their commander died. The windshields are darkened, and the Americans can't see who's driving them.
Nor can they see the little Autobot symbol where the crest of the manufacturer would be, either...

"I cannot wait to hear this," he says. "All right, Quinn, stop where you are."
Quinn (who is trying with all his might to ignore the pounding in his ears; he might have backup now, but this is still an uneasy situation) obeys, and looks up at the American.
There is silence for a time. Finally, the American says, "Well?"
Somehow, Quinn manages a smile. "We're going to London," he says.
"Are we," the American answers flatly.
"Well, the three of us are, for sure," Quinn says, gesturing towards the vehicles behind him. "You're welcome to come with us if you like, though."

And by that, we mean they shift, and parts rearrange themselves, and there is the sound of metal against metal.
And then there are two robots there, one about thirty-five feet tall, and one about twenty-five feet tall.
The taller one appears to be unarmed.
The shorter has a pair of massive cannons mounted on the back of its hands, and the right cannon has missles racked around it.
The taller one says, politely, "Would you care to join us in cleaning up your mess?"
