Damn, this morning I realized that I didn't notice which other character storyline was included in Locke's flashback. Thanks for mentioning this
( ... )
Bitterguy posted this earlier today. It is the "writing on the wall". This one however had had some translations added to it for help. (the "map" or whatever it is was impossible to read on show, and not much better on this pic, nor are the "translations" all that easy to read, but you at least will get the idea....
Thank you so much for taking the time to help this "Lost" fan out. :)
I know how busy you are so I really appreciate it.
As for my noticing small details (like Sayid's girl) it must come from my Radio & Television Arts background. I see mistakes and bad cuts on TV and in films all the time. I think that's why I tend to do both of those activities alone, 'cause otherwise I grumble aloud "look at the shadow from the boom mic!" or "a second ago her hair was tucked behind her ears and now it's not and now it is again!" or "check it out, it's the woman Sayid was in love with!"
However we never see the guy type in the numbers to reset the clock.
Preview for next show they know the guy is not who they say he is and confront him. He says he can not tell them anything or they will kill him. Blackout to a gunshot sound.

It seemed to me like 'Henry' typed in the numbers a minute too late, hence the "map" before the clock flipped back; or he input different info that reset the system and got the steel wall to go up.
The second theory would mean he's a Dharma-boy though...
it's all very mysterioushicoMarch 31 2006, 03:38:32 UTC
The pallet with supplies that they discovered looks like a Military Re-Supply Unit - having been dropped from a plane by parachute. It had a blue flashing light on it so that it can be easily found. This leads me to believe that a) the base must still be in operation in parts, and b) that there are soldiers on the island somewhere, and c) that there is problably a homing beacon attached to the pallet, which means the soldiers (or Others? ) are going to come looking for it.

Gotta tell ya, that pic is all over the net being analysed by "Lost" fanatics.
Luckily I can just sit back and wait for others to share their discoveries: I enjoy the show but I'm not crazy for it, ya know?
See you Monday if all goes well. :)

That can be truly annoying. :)
Hope to see you soon!

I wonder how the steel doors coming down and the food drop are tied together...
