See, you're thinking with the wrong mentality. It isnt rooting for a team so much as rooting against the toher team. You should root against the Patriots for these very valid, very mature reasons:

1. Clevelanders HATE HATE HATE Belechek
2. The Patriots would give already stupid people in Boston more bragging rights in addition to the Red Sox Word Series win.
3. The 1972 Miami Dolphins (me being a Dolphins fan makes this one important)
4. The Patriots CHEATED. They were caught, found guilty, and fined. Aparently I'm the only one who remembers this (well, me and Don Shula) though because everyone is going on and on about how great they are. But they cheated!

Anyway, moral of the story, dont think of it as rooting for the Giants, but against the Patriots.

Points 2-4 are very valid, and I can agree with each and every one of them. I already stated I can't stand Belichick, so I guess point 1 is valid as well ( ... )

To make matters worse, it was planned win or lose for about a week.

I didn't mean your "hood" per se, I meant overall.

Oh and I totally tried to get the red shirt from (http://store.reebok.com/family/index.jsp?sr=1&origkw=3023257&doVSearch=no&categoryId=3023257&page=3&pageBucket=0&doVSearch=no) though I know it won't send.
