It's a pain to get a wishing well, but it's worth it sometimes - especially if you have popularity sims for making all those best friends. I think I'm going to use it in the future to help with the 20 simultaneous lovers LTW, since they instantly fall in love from the wishing well. There is a really helpful tutorial by ASimWen that gives details on how much to do to get the well - lighting, sculptures, trees, ponds, etc. http://ts2wishingwell.blogspot.com/ I usually look at it before calling the garden club. One thing she didn't mention that I've found gives points is if you have a room inside your house with 10 or more houseplants, it adds to your score. My sims are often broke or have a very small garden - or I'm lazy. ;) But I think if it is ever spring in Apple Grove again I'm going to try to have more families earn the wishing well.
I remember how you made Devon do all the chores - but why now were you angry with her? Hm, a brainscan comes up with nothing here, I just can't remember. Chevy and Ashlee seems like a sweet couple - I'm also looking forward to seeing more of those two in the future.
Lovely with all the snow! I'm already getting into the Christmas spirit here, even if it's still almost two months away. I always get the urge to decorate my sims' homes and it seems that my Riverblossom Valley hood (a prequel to my Riverblossom Hills story) is just in the right season.
The main reason I still make her do lots of the chores is because she was raised from a toddler by her teenage brother Daniel. When it came time for him to try to get her into the Greek house, she refused to join. The Greek house was only at level 5, and she was too good for it until it was at the highest level - 6. I was so mad! LOL
I do think the snow is lovely too, but I need to play faster because I have had it for a couple of years now, :D
I'm excited to see your new Riverblossom. That's one neighborhood I really need to play one day. I had a legacy family there, but didn't really play with the families, so I really don't know them very well. I have an Uberhood, so I may get there one day.
Aww, was so hoping to see the new baby! Chevy's birthday woes and his parents' disappointment in his lack of ambition cracked me up! Can't wait to see the how he does with the lucky "dumb blond"! Hahaha, too funny!
