I've been at Music Waste the last three nights having an awesome time. At least one good band every night, which isn't bad for a $15 weekend. I'll write about it later, but in the meantime, here's the text of the interview I did recently with David Berman, in case anyone's interested.

The inaugural "Weirdness" night at the Biltmore was a little disappointing. I was expecting italo-disco and Captain Beefheart, but it was more like Thin Lizzy and familiar 80's hits. The show by Gregory and Cyril Chapusiat (and Chad Oakenfold) up at the LES Gallery right now is the most fun I've had in an art gallery in years, maybe ever. I don't want to give too much away, but the deal is basically that you put on a white gauze jumpsuit and go spelunking in a maze built inside the walls. AMAZING. I felt like I was eight.

I am increasingly stoked for wednesday.

I don't know if I'll still be so stoked once I've heard it 30 times (this is going to be on the radio and licensed for TV ads soon, isn't it?
