I stole this from likegunfire. My movies aren't AS obscure but I never see anyone talking about them so they go on the list.
Let me be honest. I totally don't remember what some of these are about. But I write the movies I watch down and grade them and these all got good grades.

It's about a group of kids getting into all kinds of shit. lol I don't remember much. Just that I liked it a lot.

About a guy (OMGOLIVERWOOD) with insomnia who passes the time by getting an overnight job at the supermarket. Also he can stop time.
Fido
This movie is funny and heartwarming. People of earth have enslaved zombies to basically be slaves. One kid befriends his family's zombie and hilarious hijinks ensue. It's very corny but it's meant to be that way. It's like Lassie but with zombies.
Martian Child
Aw. Cute/sad/funny/etc. It's about this orphan kid who is convinced he's from Mars. (And you really start to believe that he might be sometimes.) And John Cusack is the foster father who takes him in and tries to figure him out. It rocked.
Pizza
Such a cute movie. This kind of outcast loner girl befriends the hot pizza guy (the only person to show up at her birthday party. to deliver pizza.) It's really cute and sometimes sad. Bonus for the hotness of Ethan Embry.
The Nines
I have no idea wtf this movie is about. And not in a I don't remember way. As I was watching it I was sitting there like "BZUH?" the whole time. But also it kept my attention the whole time. I was VERY interested to know wtf was going on. Plus hot Ryan Reynolds. And Sookie from Gilmore Girls! I still don't get it mostly but I loved it anyway.
The Painted Veil
EDWARD NORTON IS SO GORGEOUS. And also the movie is good too. This man is in love with this woman who is not as into him but marries him anyway. And their marriage sucks. So she fucks Liev Schreiber. (i know she's insane) And Ed Norton is like UH UH BITCH and at this point I believe he has fallen out of love with her. And he takes her off to Africa or Brazil or something (I forget sorry lol) Because he's trying to cure a disease. And he is basically awesome. And then they fall in love all over. I am such a sucker for falling in love after marriage stories.
