Isn't there some kind of loophole for those unintroduced to Christianity? I think the "virtuous but godless" go to limbo, yes? Not that limbo is all that great either. Mostly rushing wind and darkness. Kinda crappy.
Anyway, hi.
I've switched my blurty to LJ, which is basically useless until I graduate (a matter of days) and get internet at my house (a matter of weeks). Today I'm hanging out at A's house, making his parents feed me and totally sponging up the internet. Yea turkey! So, hi again. Hope all is well.

Holy crap! Wow, good to hear from ya.
According to Dante, they get the limbo of hell, one step below Purgatory. Regardless of where they go, they can't reach heaven. The fun part about this, is that anyone born before the Born again movement, cannot reach heaven, by default. Which means every Jew, every Christian, until recent history had no chance of making it to heaven. Well, I suppose some of the early christians might've, but the moment the organized Catholic church came into power, that would be all over, for hundreds of years. Why's Peter waiting for you at the pearly gates? Because God won't let him in.

Anyhow, I'll be adding you to my friends list, and there's nothing you can do about it. Muah ha ha!

Well, you do have to admit that basic Christianity is/was pretty inclusive, as far as Christianity goes. I mean, all you had to do is believe in God, and now Jesus, right? So all the new-comers (i.e. basically anyone after Adam and Eve, if you go for the whole literal creationism thing) couldn't really improve and expand, just define and narrow. I mean, if you cut out belief in God, there's pretty much nothing ( ... )

Yeah there are lots of them on campus that hand out little green books of the new testament (and only a few pre-selected chapters from it mind you)

I am almost tempted to yell at them to read the old testament and leave my to my own desires, but alas I am usually heading to class and have no time for such a debate.

Didn't you know? The new testament made the old one, completly worthless... or something.
