So, what should these be telling about myself?

The school year is already making me crank out music and writing like mad. Next week I will be auditioning for the lead bass role, Zarastro, in Mozart's "The Magic Flute". So today is my end of the summer BBQ. I wasn't able to get in touch with everyone I wanted and I doubt everyone who I'd like to be here will be. However, I am optimistic. Today I spent the day working security and various other tasks for the biggest Ska festival in the midwestern United States: Skappleton. This is my third year. It was tiring but amazing and so much fun. Tonight after clean-up the last of us drank and smoked a little(didn't take much considering the exhaustion of working a 12 hour Ska show). I never saw so many feathers in one day of my life, or for that matter cumulatively in my life before today. I did the time warp down 5th Avenue in Manhattan along side the RHPS Convention float. It was awesome. The partying afterwards was, too. It was mostly Home of Happiness cast and some NYC cast people. I was so glad it wasn't too hot out. All ( Read more... )

The term is coming to a close. Classes are over and I've got two finals left to finish. By Wednesday evening, I'll be temporarily free(though freedom is a subjective concept of whose existance I'm very unsure). I'm happy, simply and truely.
