I should just stop trying to confide in my dad about the pressures of moving because I already know what he's going to tell me as soon as I get in there. But, I think I go to him because I value his opinion and I guess I just keep hoping that he's going to tell me that this is a good idea and I should follow my heart and not what everybody else

I dont think love affair or "love"in general is supposed to be practical....if it was it wouldnt be any fun.
Your dad may just be worried cause you are his little girl going out and making your own decisions in the wide world and he finally has to realize that you are all grown up. At least that is what my dad said to me about me going out and getting married and stuff. So just give you dad extra hugs and tell him no matter what he is still your dad and you will always love him and value his opinion even if you dont agree with it.

Thanks Jennie, it does. He's told me that he supports me, but he doesn't at all agree with me. At least I have his support then. Without it I think I'd be lost.
