[Ashelin isn't one hundred percent certain on how to encrypt any of her entries over the network, so she's not even going to bother to make the attempt. She will, however, escort herself right on down a couple of decks. She's got a better understanding of the decks now, you see.

The Cool is a place to drink. How fitting. Like Krew's bar. Without Krew, and that in itself is a relief. She looks around, scouting as she tends to do, even in a place she's seen ten times before. You can't be too careful, especially not aboard the ship of Hell. She spots his ears, though, before she spots the rest of him. It's the easiest way to determine who's who in this place.

She makes her approach quietly and only slightly wary. Must be important if he's making something to her so direct.]

[The distinct lack of Krew might be one of his favorite things about this place. True, Krew'd had his value and his purpose. That didn't mean Torn had liked the guy. There was a reason he'd always sent Jak to him instead of going himself, after all.

He looks up when Ashelin speaks, and immediately slides a piece of paper across the table to her. There are names and numbers on it. Two of them (Jak, Jinx, and Damas' names and IDs) should be familiar to her. The other, Daxter's, might not be.

Yes, he's a little troll and was digging through Jak's postings on the network when he heard Daxter's voice. Naturally, he wrote down the ID that went with it.]

You've probably already got these. No harm in a second copy.

[Down at the bottom are two more names, one with an ID (Phoenix) and one without (Erol).]

You've probably already talked to this guy. [He pokes at Phoenix's name with his pencil.] Considering he claims to know us both.

[A pause.]

He tell you Erol's on board?

[He hasn't found Erol's ID yet. But he will.]

[She slips in to sit in front of him and looks over the listing. The numbers are familiar and the moment she notes they're IDs, she understands that they go to the communicators. It's a nifty little observation to make. She wonders if she made it the time before as well, or if this is the first time.

Technically, it's a first. Everything's a first for Ashelin, though. Again. Aboard the ship. Again. Apparently.

She pauses briefly when he mentions Phoenix. That refined elf gives her odd thoughts and she's not likely to trust him, but... He's... Definitely something she can't exactly define yet. He's very earnest about her. Earnest and serious. That's something she can't deny.]

Yeah. We talked.

[He got her something. Almost like a 'welcome back' present. She carries it with her now. But it's actually weaponry. She'll make revisions to it later. Thoughtfully she rests her hands on her thigh holster. Bolos, she thinks they were.

Then she nods once.Jak mentioned him. I haven't seen him or heard from him. Maybe we got lucky and he's not ( ... )

[He's counting himself pretty lucky that whatever else might be weird on this ship, at least Ashelin feels like the same Ashelin he knew. It's a small comfort, but he'll take it.]

I'd watch out for him. There's something I don't like about the guy.

[Something that has nothing to do with his inherent dislike of "new faces" but we won't mention that.]

I doubt we're that lucky. [Unfortunately.] Jak said "he's here" not that "he was here." Won't hurt to keep an eye out, especially since the only thing we know about him is that he's here.

[And that bothers him. He's used to having at least a vague idea of where Erol is--the man's not exactly a wilting flower after all--so not even having that when he knows Erol is "somewhere" sets him on edge.]
