I want to blame my luck on Atlanta ok. I need no second opinions on this issue. Dr. Ramona has finally properly diagnosed the problem. The question is, will I need to be reffered to a specialist, and will they need to OPERATE ( Read more... )

hey sweetie. i read your journal for today and i feel your pain and struggle. i could throw a million sayings and quotes, but that wont help. but truly, when your down it can only go up from here. I dont know if you remember long ago, when we used to chat regularly i tried to tell you bout that no good ex. you didnt believe me, but you saw for yourself. then we went back and forth, on how Detroit is so horrible. You might still feel that way, and Detroit might still be terrible, but i was trying to tell you Atlanta is not the answer. Every city, town, township, country, or place is gonna have its own problems. Runnin from State to State aint the answer. Making it happen where ever your at is the key. So find you a place you like based on things like location, weather, culture, cost of living, and once your comfortable, take your talents and skillz and make em work. there is no "perfect" place to live. like you said you left Detroit to get away from the very things your goin through right now. I CAN AGREE WITH ABOUT LIFE BEING UNFAIR AND RUTHLESS. IVE READ ALL YOUR JOURNALS THIS LAST WEEK OR SO AND WHAT I SEE IN YOU IS A WRITER. I SUGGEST YOU WRITE A BOOK, NOVEL, ROMANCE OR WHATEVER. YOU CAN EVEN WRITE ABOUT YOURSELF AND CHANGE THE PLOT. YOU HAVE A GIFT OF EXPRESSION AND YOU NEED TO PUT IT IN WORDS IN A BOOK OR SOMETHING. AS FAR AS YOUR CURRENT SITUATION YOU GONNA HAVE TO PRAY AND RIDE IT OUT UNTIL SOMETHING BETTER COMES OF IT. ITS NOT THE END OFTHE WORLD JUST EVERYDAY LIFE. I SUGGEST YOU TRY YOUR HAND AT REAL ESTATE, MORTGAGE BROKER OR SOMETHING OF THAT NATURE. I THINK YOU HAVE THE PERSONALITY TO DO THAT TYPE OF WORK AND BE SUCCESSFUL AT IT.

Was just browsing and ran into this interesting page of yours here and just thought I'd tell you that I really feel what you've said in a few of your posts. Mainly the 'dating sucks' theory you seem to have. I keep running into dead ends myself and have wondered in the past if this is the right city for me also. Been here 4 years can't seem to find the 'job for me' I'm working, but not in my field of choice. Trying to be a 'Strong Black Man' but it sure doesn't work. Every year its effectiveness seems to wear and it just keeps me single and searching. I don't have any kids, have a job, (no golds :-P )so what's wrong! I don't know whether to blame myself or the city.
