Try to keep smiling. It's hard sometimes, you deal with it, though.
People's City Mission turned me down. they said they already have seventy volunteers. While that's great for them, that gives me little respite. Now I get to work all Thanksgiving on stuff for classes, and I find little venue for actual human contact save the internet. Huzzah.
