More books for sale!

Aug 12, 2010 14:45

You all were so helpful last time I posted books for sale in an attempt to help pay off some of my medical bills. So it's time to do it again...
Instead of posting prices for everything, I'm just going to say that you can make me an offer but I'd love to get at least $2 per book. There are a few that I'd sell for a buck and a few I'd like to ask for ( Read more... )

sounds great! that's 6 books so how about $10 for all of them, and i'll go calculate shipping in a minute.

i didn't post an update, sorry. he's doing okay. he's still in the hospital - they decided he needed closer to 2 weeks instead of one. he's on good behavior there but they know there are a lot of issues and he needs some med adjustments. he's been there almost a week and as far as i know they haven't changed his meds yet, which is frustrating to me. the cool thing is the psych there recommended the same child psychiatrist you did (dr lewis), and who we already have an appt with in october! he's going to try to get us in sooner with her. big guy some days says he likes it in the hospital and it's fun... and then days like today he calls crying that he wants to come home. i miss him so bad. as for us, things have gotten easier. we feel more confident that we did the right thing and that in the long run this will help rather than hurt. the staff seems good. mostly we just miss him like crazy. we visit a lot, and try to enjoy having some child-free time to get housework done and have some "us-time." thanks for asking.

omg are the frum women chick lit books really in the vein of chick lit, ie, story-driven, a little silly, totally delicious beachy kind of reading? if so, i am totally interested. what's a fair price for the lot?

they are definitely more serious and better quality than your usual "chick lit". i only classified them that way because they're about women and their relationships with each other (or about romance) and they're books i doubt most guys would read. they don't all count as beach-y reading but i'd say that the ruchama king and tova mirvis books would be good for that, or jephte's daughter. how about the 7 books for $12 plus whatever it costs to ship media mail?

sounds good to me. i need new reading and i'll pass along what i don't like. let me know what media mail comes to + tell me here, rather than invoicing me on paypal; if you invoice paypal takes out more fees. xxoo

Wow that sounds so hard, for him and for you. I can't believe he has been there six (seven?) days with no change to meds. There is no way a private insurer would stand for that, for sure he would be in day treatment. Seriously I am just reeling over here!

I have read People of the Book. I still have it and I really like it a lot but there is one section which really turns my stomach and I just can't pick it up again. If you would like a bunch of free books to repopulate your shelves I have a bunch of fiction and non-fiction stuff that I picked up on the cheap, and I'm never going to read again, but too lazy to sell on ebay or half.com. I also have some young adult fiction like the golden compass trilogy?

what is your paypal account info?
