Is it right to ask for everything that you want from a person? Is it right to expect all that from the person when promises are made? Is it cruel to stop something that is just going completely in the wrong direction? Is it possible to start from scratch with no biases? I'm so screwed up.

None of these questions can be answered by anyone for you. The answers you seek are in the same place where the questions lie.

Asking for a public opinion on something that is so obviously personal in nature is just going to confuse you even more.
