My first thought was "stick to your guns" but I think it was just "stick" that got me there.
And re: Kings (we haven't watched it yet) but apparently it didn't get very good ratings and is NOT getting ER's Thursday night 10pm slot, so I wouldn't hold out too much hope for it.
I had a whole discussion with crimsonquills and aureliapriscus once about whether salmon involving maple is something that appeals to me or not. I tend to put it under the category of 'wacky Canadian Cuisine' (kinda like poutine), but this recipe sounds good.
I've always thought 'Stick to your knitting' meant 'don't bother yourself with man stuff'.

My gut reaction to "stick to your knitting" was "get back to the kitchen, bitch." However, it is apparently legitimate business-speak for "focus on your core business and don't try to expand too quickly."
I still think it sounds derogatory.

The salmon has a very Asian flavour to it. Only mildly wacky. And I don't like poutine.
