Caturday and other ramblings

It's very early in the morning on a Saturday. I shouldn't be awake. But I am awake because some cats (mostly Ziva) woke me up by scratching and banging at things in a destructive manner. After some fruitless yelling, I got up and fed them, then came back to bed. But I couldn't sleep because it's Saturday. On any given weekday, I could very easily ( Read more... )

First off, as I have been very remiss in not saying this before now... Congratulations!! Everything is crossed that it all goes well.

Secondly - Star Trek is hewn from pure awesomeness. I am going to do a proper review for my blog but... I bounced out of that cinema with such a grin on my face people must have thought I was on something. I haven't been so gleeful about Star Trek since seeing IV at the pictures when I was a wee!monster.

I'd advise taking a hankie - I cried at least once (you'll understand when you see the scene) and got very sniffy at another scene. Even so - it has drama, emotion, laughter and awesomeness. I want to go see it again... perferably now!

Go see, and blog what you thought.

You should celebrate Mother's day, you are definitely a mommy so have at it, enjoy and allow youself to be spoiled rotten.

I have to work tomorrow, but then I'm taking my mom to dinner. 2 of my kids gave me my mother's day prezzies today because one of them is leaving tomorrow morning to go back to his base and my daughter has some big shin-dig at her church.

I am sooo looking forward to seeing the new Trek movie, I haven't missed one yet and it's one of the few series of movies that I can get hubby to actually go to the theatre to see.
