I do like both. I like that in the second layout the garage comes into the laundry....however I don't like how small the master shower is. I doubt the tub would get enough use to justify a tiny shower!
The bonus room is what I would make my main family room. - however the one bedroom is tiny (my aunt ix finally moving....her 6'2" son had a queen in a room that size.....literally just a bed fits!)
We're going to make a few changes, and one is the tiny master shower. We both shower every day, so what a waste to have that beautiful soaker tub that will, at best, get used about once a week. We'll turn the tub into a kicka$$ shower, spin the toilet to face the sink, and put up a half wall to hide the toilet. :)
We're in a holding pattern on the bonus room. It'll be the playroom if we can add it, but it's cost-dependent. As for the bedrooms, they're not big by any means, but they're slightly bigger than the rooms the boys are in now. Henry has a queen sized bed, and there really isn't much other room! But plans with much bigger rooms also cost a LOT more. At least this house will give them each a much bigger closet than they have now!
