I've been so busy at work that I'm just exhausted by the time I get home. I've been falling asleep by 9 or 9:30pm. My weekends have been filled with either RPG's or WarHammer! Life is so full right now ( Read more... )

It's good to see a post from you!

I remember when Hubby and I introduced Pepper and Garbo to Ted. He backed himself into a corner and growled for eight hours. It was very sad. But Garbo is not one to take "no" for an answer and they were curled up together in no time. I know that Amy and Zandie will hit a stride soon.

I can't wait to see pics of the hair! You are brave! Much braver than I ever would be! I did go "Mariska Hargitay" short once and liked it, but now that my hair is longer, I'm losing my nerve again. And Hubby has voiced an opinion to liking the longer locks so I'm here for a while.

I love the longer hair myself, and one of the things that has endeared Poney to me very much has been her willingness to keep it long. And I love that she is doing this for our friend, and for Locks of Love.

I did mine first, down to the bare skin, with my lovely wife's help. I did hers for her. Her hair is about 3/4" to 1" long all over now!

In helping me, she also declared that she liked men's razors a LOT more then hers, so I pulled one of several boxed Mail Samplers (Gillette is cunning at marketing-- they charge so much for blades that they can literally give away a free hand and a sample blade to everyone in America and still make money) and presented it to her. She's trying it out in the shower now that we're both done washing the loose hairs away.

Enjoy the obsolete avvy!

One of the reasons that I'm trying to grow my hair is that I'd love to be able to donate to Locks of Love. I've known quite a few people who have done that. It's such a wonderful thing to be able to do!

I can't wait to see the pictures!!!! And yes, what a wonderful gesture to your friend. I had a high school friend who had brain cancer and when his hair fell out from the chemo all of his best friends shaved their heads, too!
